This funding gives our teams the ability to respond to immediate needs, support people and families in practical ways, improve the places where people live and receive support, and respond as new needs arise.
What Your Support Makes Possible:
Practical Support
Flexible funding helps our teams respond to the circumstances of the individual or family in front of them. This could include: essential items, travel costs, baby supplies, clothing, educational materials and other one-off supports.
Children and Families
Homelessness can limit many of the ordinary experiences that are part of childhood. Funding helps children and families access play, learning, activities, child-friendly spaces and opportunities to stay connected to community life.
Supporting People Sleeping Rough
People sleeping rough can need practical support at short notice. Business Leaders' Sleep Out funding helps our outreach teams respond with essential items and vital supports.
Safe, Dignified and Functional Spaces
The places where people live and receive support matter. Funding helps with repairs, replacement equipment, furniture and improvements to communal and residential spaces.
COPE Galway Homeless Service
COPE Galway Homeless Service supports individuals and families across Galway who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
We provide Emergency, Family and Community Based Services, including supported temporary accommodation, Day Centre and street outreach services, family support, Housing First, resettlement and tenancy sustainment.
Our approach is person-centred, trauma-informed and strengths-based, working alongside people to meet immediate needs and support them towards greater stability and a safe, secure home.
