The COPE Galway Business Leaders’ Sleep Out brings Galway’s business community together for one night to raise vital funds for COPE Galway Homeless Service and highlight the reality of homelessness in Galway.
The COPE Galway Business Leaders’ Sleep Out is designed for senior business leaders, owners and decision-makers who want to use their leadership, profile and networks to make a difference in Galway.
Participants commit to raising a minimum fundraising target, take part in the event on Friday 4 December, and are supported by COPE Galway throughout the campaign.
What began as a grassroots initiative with five Galway business leaders has grown into one of COPE Galway’s most important annual fundraising campaigns.
Fourteen years later, the campaign has raised close to €2 million for COPE Galway Homeless Service and built a strong community of business leaders committed to supporting our work.
Funds raised through the Business Leaders’ Sleep Out provide valuable flexible funding for COPE Galway Homeless Service.
This helps our teams respond to immediate needs, support children and families, improve the places where people live and receive support, and respond as new needs arise.
For 60 years, COPE Galway has worked alongside people and communities across Galway.
Today, we provide essential social services through our Homeless Service, Domestic Abuse Service and Senior Support Service, supporting people through some of the most challenging times in their lives.
